It's been too long, y'all.
1. First things first, please check out my page on thesixtyone.com I love the website and you probably will too if you give it a chance. I have a listener account too.
2. Ingrid Michaelson just played a show here in Spokane, and my respect for this woman just shot through the proverbial roof that people are always talking about. Click here to read a blog entry where I have more to say on that subject.
(Special props should also go to Alexa Wilkinson who was a fantastic opening act, and a really cool person to boot.)
3. If you happen to BE Ingrid Michaelson? Welcome to my page and thank you for actually checking it out. You strike me as very genuine, and I do believe you will read these words. The two minute song I was talking about is "Glutton" and you can listen to it by clicking here. (Right click and save as, if you like.) Keep in mind that there is more where that came from.
4. That offer is not exclusive to Ms. Michaelson. Whoever you are, feel free to download my songs to your heart's content.
5. I never update this news area. If you want to read what's up in my world, you would be much better off checking out my top 10,000 song blog. I'll be updating that thing for the next 27 years or so, if everything goes along to {the devious} plan.
6. Thank you for reading this, and if you have listened to any of my music? Thank you for listening to it. There are many other things that you could be doing with your time, and I appreciate that you have set aside time to hear what I do. I'm past thinking that I will ever get famous or rich from this, but I enjoy making music and I can't imagine I will ever stop until I literally can't do it any longer.
7. Love what you hear? Go ahead and send me an e-mail or be my friend on Myspace. You can tell me that you hated my stuff too, for that matter, but I hope you don't.

Today is just FULL of excitement! My head may a splode!
1. Captain S and the Angry Video Game Nerd have teamed up to save Christmas... in August. I'm excited to be part of this, because I am a fan of BOTH projects. I contributed 3 compositions for the episode. Check out "A Very Nerdy Non-Canonical Captain S Christmas" at PBC-Productions.com
2. I am in a band called The Half Racks and we are playing two shows this weekend at the Comet in Spokane. Check out this cool flyer that Burr Martin of Heroic Pose Studios put together for the shows:
The Comet is located at 5028 N Market in Spokane. We will attempt to rock faces, so please attend if you can.

Shael Riley asked me if I would like to create the theme song to a cool project he is involved with called "Captain S", and after hearing the concept of the show I said "Sure!"
If you're a fan of videogames and T.V. shows like "Saved By the Bell" from the Sega Genesis era, then I highly recommend checking this show out.
I'll be watching the episodes right along with the rest of you. I enjoyed the first episode when I watched it today.
So, what are you waiting for?

2006 was not the year of 12 albums. Will 2007 be the lucky year? Well, it does have the number 7 in it, and it will be the seventh consecutive year where I will attempt to create 12 albums in a year. I think this will be the one, but I say that every year. What else do I have for you? Oh, yeah! AUDIO: Album created in a day.
VIDEO: Live solo acoustic show. (It didn't go well.)

I am excited to announce that an Oingo Boingo tribute CD has been made, and I was part of it in a small way.
Let's give you some background on this:
1. Octothorpe asked me to be part of the recording session for "Little Guns" for an Oingo Boingo tribute CD. We recorded it in downtown Seattle around a year and a half ago if I remember correctly. There was even paperwork to sign.
2. The album is called "Drink to Bones That Turn to Dust: A Toast to Oingo Boingo". It is for sale now at CDBaby.com, and it's being put out by a new label called Dep't of Records.
3. I played the bass guitar on Octothorpe's recording of "Little Guns", and there is a 2 minute sound sample available on CDBaby's page for the CD.
So, here are the links if you would like to know more:
CDBaby page for the CD (sound samples are on the left hand side)

Octothorpe may not be the most amazing band you have ever heard, but the guys know how to have fun.
Oh! And for those of you didn't already know about it, Octothorpe recorded an Album-a-day with me last year. If you would like to hear what we came up with within a 24 hour deadline, it's here for the free downloadin'
