3 March 2008.
It's been too long, y'all.

1. First things first, please check out my page on thesixtyone.com I love the website and you probably will too if you give it a chance. I have a listener account too.

2. Ingrid Michaelson just played a show here in Spokane, and my respect for this woman just shot through the proverbial roof that people are always talking about. Click here to read a blog entry where I have more to say on that subject.

(Special props should also go to Alexa Wilkinson who was a fantastic opening act, and a really cool person to boot.)

3. If you happen to BE Ingrid Michaelson? Welcome to my page and thank you for actually checking it out. You strike me as very genuine, and I do believe you will read these words. The two minute song I was talking about is "Glutton" and you can listen to it by clicking here. (Right click and save as, if you like.) Keep in mind that there is more where that came from.

4. That offer is not exclusive to Ms. Michaelson. Whoever you are, feel free to download my songs to your heart's content.

5. I never update this news area. If you want to read what's up in my world, you would be much better off checking out my top 10,000 song blog. I'll be updating that thing for the next 27 years or so, if everything goes along to {the devious} plan.

6. Thank you for reading this, and if you have listened to any of my music? Thank you for listening to it. There are many other things that you could be doing with your time, and I appreciate that you have set aside time to hear what I do. I'm past thinking that I will ever get famous or rich from this, but I enjoy making music and I can't imagine I will ever stop until I literally can't do it any longer.

7. Love what you hear? Go ahead and send me an e-mail or be my friend on Myspace. You can tell me that you hated my stuff too, for that matter, but I hope you don't.

ROCK!

Today is just FULL of excitement! My head may a splode!

1. Captain S and the Angry Video Game Nerd have teamed up to save Christmas... in August. I'm excited to be part of this, because I am a fan of BOTH projects. I contributed 3 compositions for the episode. Check out "A Very Nerdy Non-Canonical Captain S Christmas" at PBC-Productions.com

2. I am in a band called The Half Racks and we are playing two shows this weekend at the Comet in Spokane. Check out this cool flyer that Burr Martin of Heroic Pose Studios put together for the shows:

The Comet is located at 5028 N Market in Spokane. We will attempt to rock faces, so please attend if you can.

Shael Riley asked me if I would like to create the theme song to a cool project he is involved with called "Captain S", and after hearing the concept of the show I said "Sure!"

If you're a fan of videogames and T.V. shows like "Saved By the Bell" from the Sega Genesis era, then I highly recommend checking this show out.

I'll be watching the episodes right along with the rest of you. I enjoyed the first episode when I watched it today.

So, what are you waiting for?

2006 was not the year of 12 albums. Will 2007 be the lucky year? Well, it does have the number 7 in it, and it will be the seventh consecutive year where I will attempt to create 12 albums in a year. I think this will be the one, but I say that every year.

What else do I have for you? Oh, yeah! AUDIO: Album created in a day.
VIDEO: Live solo acoustic show. (It didn't go well.)

09 November 2006.
I am excited to announce that an Oingo Boingo tribute CD has been made, and I was part of it in a small way.

Let's give you some background on this:

1. Octothorpe asked me to be part of the recording session for "Little Guns" for an Oingo Boingo tribute CD. We recorded it in downtown Seattle around a year and a half ago if I remember correctly. There was even paperwork to sign.

2. The album is called "Drink to Bones That Turn to Dust: A Toast to Oingo Boingo". It is for sale now at CDBaby.com, and it's being put out by a new label called Dep't of Records.

3. I played the bass guitar on Octothorpe's recording of "Little Guns", and there is a 2 minute sound sample available on CDBaby's page for the CD.

So, here are the links if you would like to know more:

CDBaby page for the CD (sound samples are on the left hand side)
Dep't of Records website
Octothorpe's website

Octothorpe may not be the most amazing band you have ever heard, but the guys know how to have fun.

Oh! And for those of you didn't already know about it, Octothorpe recorded an Album-a-day with me last year. If you would like to hear what we came up with within a 24 hour deadline, it's here for the free downloadin'

I was on a radio show called Battle Star Eclectica tonight. You can listen to it on Sunday nights between 8pm to 10pm Pacific Standard Time at KYRS.org

It was VERY fun!

If you want to hear how it went down, just click here for an mp3 of the broadcast.

28 September 2006.
It has been a ridiculous amount of time since I updated this page. Let's give you a couple of updates:

1. 320 songs that I have recorded can be downloaded for free from this page.
2. You can watch an entire Half Racks concert from earlier this year right here.
3. I am posting one song per day for my 10,000 favorite songs list. Those can be found daily on Blogger, Livejournal, and Myspace for your convenience.

Honestly, I update my Myspace page with news a LOT more often than this website these days.

With that said: Thank you for checking my website out, and thank you for reading this.

6 June 2006.
Yes! You are reading that web address correctly! glenncase.com! How amazing is that? Thank you SO much to both Spud and Blue for all of the free time and webspace that Songhole provided me with over the years.

There are bad links all over the place as I type this, but I will be working at fixing those and adding NEW content soon enough. Thanks for checking out my new home!

1 March 2006.
I am LOVING the new Message boards on the Half Racks website. Stop by, register, and say hello.

22 February 2006.
I have TWO good things to report.

1. Songfight! is now properly represented on Myspace. If you are not familiar with Songfight!, now may be a good time to check into it. Lots of free mp3 entertainment awaits.

2. Liam Lynch.net is now online, and the Video Podcasts are highly recommended. Lots of free entertainment awaits.

So, yeah. That's about it. You pay nothing, yet, you can get many hours of enjoyments from both sites! Check 'em out!

3 February 2006.
I did a major update on my blog, talking about what I have been up to. Check it out if you like!

23 December 2005.
I haven't updated this in quite a while, but that doesn't mean that nothing is happening.

1. The House of Delusions Podcast on Spewgrass is up to it's 12th episode on Sunday! This will be the last 90 minute show, as I am dropping it back to 42 minute shows for 2006. The House even has it's own Myspace profile!

2. I will strive to finally succeed at the New Year's Resolution that I have had consistantly since 2000. I hope that 2006 will be the time where I created 12 albums in a single year!

3. As a musician who questions his talent on a regular basis, it's a nice feeling to have a BUNCH OF PEOPLE covering songs that you had a part in writing! Thank you Songfighters!

I am sure there is more that I am forgetting, but this should be a fairly nice update for now.

17 October 2005.
Spewgrass is hosting my new podcast show.It is called the "House of Delusions" and the streamable version of the first episode can be heard here.

Hope y'all enjoy it! I am planning on doing a weekly show. For once, I actually intend to actually STICK WITH IT and not abandon it for long periods of time.

8 October 2005.
Well, tonight turned out pretty good! Rory Stitt gave one hell of a performance, and I highly recommend that you check out his live show if you get a chance to on his current tour! GOOD stuff!

As far as my job as opening act, I think I did ok. I am happy with the performance. I transferred the audio from the video camera to here

STREAM ALL version is here.

Pictures are here

Special Thanks to: Rock Coffee for allowing me to play in their venue on such short notice!

5 October 2005.
I think someone cancelled out as the opening act, or something. Either way, I have just confirmed that I will be playing a live show:I am opening up for Rory Stitt THIS FRIDAY, October 7th at Rock Coffee in Downtown Spokane.I will be setting up around 7:30 PM. Please come down and check out the show if you can. I know this is short notice, but I would love to see some familiar faces in the crowd.

30 September 2005.
Forgot to mention this, but I have a track on the Paul Westerberg "Bring Your Own Lampshade" tribute CD.There are some really good tracks on there, I think. I am proud to be part of it.I am also slowly but surely working on a Lyrics area for my website. Many thanks to Spud for helping me with the notepad idea.

19 July 2005.
I am involved with two CDs for sale now. One for a good cause, the other for PERSONAL GAIN!

1. I have at least 400 more of the Benefit CDs for sale. $13 a piece (shipping/handling included in the price). Those CDs can be bought here:

http://www.songhole.org/glenncase/notes

2. Rachael and I would like to go to Boston to be part of Songfight Live '05 in Mid-August. We need your help. I am making a CD of new songs that should be pretty sweet.

It's like this... If we don't go to Boston? Your money will be REFUNDED, minus shipping/cost to put the disc together.

It is important to note that these donations ARE going to seperate paypal accounts.

17 January 2005.
How exciting! According to the new issue of The Inlander, over 100 bands tried out for the Quest for the Best band Contest at The Big Easy. Well, 15 bands made it, and The Half Racks made it! That's right, we will be playing in the 1,500 seat capacity venue on Thursday, January 20th. Doors open at 7:30 PM. We were given 200 tickets to give to fans. We are stoked, to say the least.

04 January 2005.
Welcome to the new year! I have old free music to help you get used to this uncertain future we are now living in. It is the first album that Government Cheese attempted to make. It was recorded in 2002/2003 and is called MAD CHEDDAR. I do hope you enjoy it! I am probably going to keep it online until about February 1st. ROCK!

25 December 2004.
Hello again! I think I have fixed all of the broken links on the site, but if you find out that I am lying to you, feel free to contact me. Heck, just drop an e-mail my way if you enjoy the site! Special thanks to SPUD for hosting the entire contents of this site at the moment!

If you are sick of listening to my songs, maybe you would like to check out this stream of 25 songfight songs that I like a lot. ROCK!

23 December 2004.
NEW Site Launched! Thanks to my good friend bortwein. I am lazy, so don't be surprised if links are broken. Old Christmas songs that Rachael and I did are up until January 1st, so grab them while you can! I have been interviewed by the good folks at Daily Raider! Check it out, if you like. Thanks to Blue Lang for giving me free webspace for so long. ROCK!

09 November 2004.
New Blog here!

I swear that the website will eventually get a facelift, just not yet.

09 October 2004.
Hello first timers. If you are here for music, I recommend the INFO section.
There are more songs there than in the SONGS section! Crazy, I know! But, the
site needs an overhaul and I haven't had time or patience for it as of late.

Checking out the old News areas can be handy for this too! There are two full albums
available for free download in mp3 format if you look through the news section.

Hopefully you will like something that you hear from this website.

15 September 2004.

Newest project is this fun little thing called MARATHON SONGS. It involves people trying to create one song per day for 16 days straight. It is NOT easy. I have completed day #6 as I type this. Jon Eric has correctly guessed that I am using the original ALBUMFIGHT titles. I recently invested the $15 in this 3 CD set, and it is SO worth the money. Frankie's is my favorite of the 3 at this time. sonofsupercar also did a fantastic job of using these titles recently. Their versions of the songs were free, but are no longer available online at this time :( . That is enough rambling from me for now. :)

I challenged myself to do the Album a day project. The rules are listed here: http://crapart.spacebar.org/aad/

if I wasn't so lazy.
Checking the info page will be your best bet if you came here to listen to free music of mine.
Thinking about setting up a new e-mail for contact also. Stay tuned.
